Maggie Lima
Zumba Instructor

As a native of mexico, growing up Maggie was surrounded by dance and music. Dances such as cumbia, merengue, salsa, mambo, chachacha, and banda were part of her everyday life.

Her love for dance and passion for fitness came together when in 2000 she met professor Nego form Capoeira Males in Guadalajara, Mexico and began to train capoeira, soon after she discovered a new love.... Samba! Eventually joining a local batucada group and performing live.

After relocating to her new home in Vancouver and reconnecting with prof Nego, she was introduce to Lucia “The Queen Of Samba” who helped to refine her samba steps. Maggie has since performed in various events with “TQOS” and Capoeira Males such as community, corporate events, fund risers, parades and private gatherings.

The idea to combine her history of dance, capoeira and samba into an aerobics workout, high lighted with the great sounds of latin music., She is exited to have put together a fun and  easy to follw workout designed to dance your way into a better and healthier life style.
